We are happy to have you here. We know that getting around a new place can be difficult. Here are full instructions to help you navigate based on your starting point. The dotted routes are recommended.
*Important information: the NRI building is also called the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute.
From the InterContinental Houston
If you are staying at the Intercontinental (6750 Main St), it is a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute drive.
From the Marriott
If you are staying at the Marriott (6580 Fannin St), it is an 8 to 10 min walk to the NRI.
Parking at the NRI
All garages are paid parking and take debit/credit cards. The nearest parking garages are TMC Garage 6, Garage 7, Garage 15, and Garage 4. Simply enter the garage, keep your ticket, walk to the NRI, and pay at the end of the day.
Prices are based on the number of hours parked, but all-day parking is about $15-20.
At the NRI
We will have signs and banners to help guide everyone into the building. There are two entrances, but both should lead to the security desk. If facing the security desk, the elevators should be on your left.
Take the elevators to the 7th floor. Once out of the elevators, the registration table will be to your right. Check in and join us!
